Hey, my names Lanae and i play the drums in Arbidday. Im 17
and music rules most of my life. Performing in Arbidday would probably be the way i would spend most weekends if i could..also
going to watch gigs around the place and meeting other bands has been a really wicked thing since being in the band.
My
main aim in life is to loose what i was aimming for in a frenzy of crazy shows lit up with big flashing lights, with a screaming
crowd, many merry dancing folk, a turtle shaped stage and beer taps on every corner!
I've had a lot of influences
over the past year or so, especially from all the local/NZ bands ive seen at gigs, almost everyone had some sort of impact-whether
it was good or bad, but the main ones would be Foamyed, Tsunami Bomb, Thrice, The Bleeders and The Ramones.. All
rarking, cranking, hot danging bands.
Roadtrips provide me with much amusement, *go the worrum van!* as do accents
we try to mock.
I have an obsesive love of Turtles, they are such cool creatures.
Also beer, my drums and guitar, hair dye and tattoos play an important role in my life as it is today.
