LEADS - "Success at Smokefree Rockquest"
The Area Heats for this annual competition were held in Tauranga
yesterday with Trident High School represented by the group "Arbidday", Lanae Eruera and Chloe Taylor, both year 13 students
at Trident were competing against 31 other bands from schools in the Bay Of Plenty area. They finished second highest
with 42/45 points and now go through to the area Finals on July 31st at The Mount Sports Stadium. From the area finals
the top two bands have the opportunity to compete in the National Finals later in the year.

HIGH SCHOOL NEWSLETTER - "Rockquest Successes"
"Congratulations to Cristy McKelvey, Sasha Tindale(Whakatane
high School students, and Lanae Eruera and Chloe Taylor (Trident High students) who make up the band Arbidday and to Nathan
McDonald, Michael Sims, Josh Turner and Linden Cunningham (Whakatane High School students) of the band FourPetesake on
being the highest scoring bands in the Regional Rockquest held recently in Tauranga. The bands now go on to the Tauranga
Regional Finals to be held on 31 July at Mount Maunganui. Our best wishes go with the bands for the finals!
